Located in Waikapu, Mālama Studio is a design + retail space that showcases select handmade products from over twenty local artisans and small businesses that honor and align with Maui’s history and tradition.

Opened at the end of November 2021, the studio is inspired by owner Isabelle Graf’s love of vintage items. She curates products that are handcrafted, ethically made and have minimal impact on the environment while supporting small businesses and/or giving back to meaningful organizations. Eighty percent of their displays have been crafted out of salvaged items.

According to Isabelle, “I landed on Maui without any expectations and since then it’s been my home for over 8 years. Through my former position at the Maui Tropical Plantation I was able to witness and showcase the island’s history. The nostalgia for the good old days guided me to where I am now – a small business owner that’s looking to share all the beauty that this island has to offer.”
